DeepRoot established the project “A New Generation of Public Leaders in Yemen” to help equip Yemen’s future peacemakers and public leaders with the skills they need to govern with integrity. The EU-funded initiative, which ran from May 2020 to October 2021, aimed to increase the political capital and involvement in decision-making processes of young Yemeni leaders. A chosen group of young leaders from throughout the country was actively involved in the following complimentary streams, based on DeepRoot’s participatory and inclusive approach:
